Maintenance

A weekly check is recommended to look at the cable drum and cable condition to ensure there is no unusual wear and that the cable is located neatly on the drum.

Also recommended is a manual sonarTXM® sensor check where the sensor moves out of the dock for visual inspection and cleaning/washing if necessary.

Spray check – again a manual forcing of the sprayers to ensure plant water supply is working and the filter and sprayers are not blocked.

Every 6 months – lubrication of the moving parts: drum shaft bearings (x2) fitted with grease nipples, cable guide rollers.

Every few years – we will recommend that the cable be replaced.
